Healthy GBA is a platform dedicated to providing comprehensive medical service information to residents of the Greater Bay Area, especially to help Hong Kong residents more easily access the Mainland's medical resources and policy support.
The platform is created to bridge the information gap between the two healthcare systems and solve common problems faced by residents in the process of cross-border medical treatment.
The Healthy GBA platform is developed and maintained by a team of professionals led by Professor Shenjing He, the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the University of Hong Kong (HKU).
The team members include experts and scholars from different academic fields, who have rich research experience in healthy cities and urban planning.
The establishment and operation of the Healthy GBA platform requires close collaboration with multiple institutions and partners. We maintain deep cooperation with medical institutions, research institutions, government departments and technical support parties in Hong Kong and the Mainland to jointly promote cross-border medical informatization and service optimization in the Greater Bay Area.
Our projects focus on integrating healthcare resources, simplifying cross-border procedures, and enhancing user experiences. Below is an overview of our main initiatives.
